The stars are not our own
They belong to the gods
Who are you to stray from
The Holders of the Stars?

Oh, how we'd thirst
Why did it all turn to dust?
Empty, lifeless lakes
Seek salvation deep beneath the crust

Fight them for water, holy world's blood
Conquer and slaughter, we are the chosen ones
True sons
The holy guardians

Who are you to sully the name of the gods,
The Holders of the Stars?
Punish those who question
The authority of the gods

The stars did fall, decrees of thunder and ice
A blessed year, a purging of heretic life

But just down the muddy street
At a place where the common folk meet:

Who are you to question the gods
What a farce, the mantra of a fool
Hear my tale, for I was there before the sky fell
It was such a long time ago, I was so very young
I was on a journey to find where the water had gone
And within the desert the north ocean now sits upon
A crack in the air
Dropping three strangers there
Stepping out from nowhere
And with ice in her stare
And the sea in her hair
She led them
I followed
And witnessed not struggle of god
Just man

Allow me to illuminate
Gentlemen, you may ruminate

I am the one
I am the caster and the master of the elements that you all take for granted
I may be flesh
But from this breast
I drew the breath
That summoned life
Along with strife
And conquered sure death
Every icy peak upon your world I summoned
Every lake and river
All of them I delivered

Fear my name, Sage Gwendolyn! I am the Holder of the Stars!

Founded in 2015 they're based in Regina, SK, Canada, and have performed their debut show in May 2016.
